Don’t pack up those plastic easter eggs yet! Scent games can be a great option for enrichment and mental stimulation for your dog.

In this game, I have hidden a dozen easter eggs filled with pieces of dog food around the yard. Instead of eating from a boring bowl, the dogs of Force Free Fido get to spend half an hour hunting for their dinner. Anyone who has worked with herding dogs can tell you how much they love to exercise their brains — Coda, Haven and Indi had a blast with this!

Haven may be deaf and half blind, but her nose works just fine.
